Primobolan is a synthetic anabolic steroid which has no use in clinical medicine and is not manufactured for the treatment of any medical disorders. It has been tried out in the past to treat very resistant anemias and improve the wasting seen in HIV patients.
Primobolan was once manufactured by the pharmaceutical company Schering AG but because of the widespread abuse and potent side effects, manufacture of this drug has been discontinued for the better part of the past 2 decades. The majority of Primobolan available on the black market is made in illegal laboratories in South America, Europe and Asia.
